Assistant Store Manager
Rick’s Picks is looking for a highly motivated “Hands On” Assistant Manager that has excellent merchandising skills, is task orientated and is skilled at multi tasking.
Candidates for this position should possess:
•2-4 years of relevant retail management experience
•Have the ability to lead a small team of employees
•Understand how to provide outstanding customer service everyday
•Effective time management skills
•Creativity with merchandising and display
Be a self starter
Responsibilities:
You will be ultimately responsible for merchandising the entire store and display of front windows. This includes planning large floor moves, consolidating and general cleaning and organization of merchandise, being creative with product themes, understanding how to work with colors.
Receive, process and display all new shipments
Provide outstanding customer service. This includes assisting customers with their purchase decisions, complete the transaction on the POS terminal and pack merchandise for customer to take with.
Provide feedback to owner regarding inventory levels and best selling categories.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to be on your feet throughout the day (on the sales floor).
Available to work Saturdays, Sundays and 2 evening shifts per week. We like to be fair about scheduling. You will likely have a weekend off then work a weekend, work a -Saturday and have a Sunday off. Your schedule will tend vary so it works with the rest of your team.
Ability to lift and carry medium-to-large items, weighing up to 30 lbs., utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
Salary & Benefits
Compensation package is very competitive and will vary with your experience level. Package includes salary, monthly sales goal bonus, annual incentive plan and other bonus opportunities of up to $35,000. Employee discount on great merchandise as well! Paid days off includes time for holidays, vacation & or sick leave.
