JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Lead Supervisor position will report directly to the Owner of this business. You will be working side by side with the owner frequently and over time will be exposed to many aspects of a small business that most similar jobs never see. Supervision of 3-5 other employees is a shared responsibility with the owner. This position will be approximately 30-40 hours (4- 5 days per week). The ability to have a flexible schedule is important. Working Saturdays and or Sundays is also mandatory. This means that one week you may work a Saturday, another week it may be a Sunday, there may be a weekend that you need to work both Saturday and Sunday. You will also have a weekend OFF about every 4th weekend. Yes you will have a life! Merchandising is a major part of this job. Your responsibility is from the time the shipments come off the truck to the time they are displayed on the shelves in the store. The processing of purchase orders accurately and timely is the lifeline of this business. You will be ultimately responsible for merchandising the entire store and display of front windows. This includes planning large floor moves, consolidating and general cleaning and organization of merchandise, being creative with product themes, understanding how to work with colors. Skills Required: • Able to provide outstanding customer service on a daily basis. o This includes assisting customers with their purchase decisions, complete the transaction on the POS terminal and pack merchandise for customer to take with. • Task oriented • Highly organized, ability to create list of action points and get them done on a daily basis • Should be personable and outgoing. • Ability to multi task • Ability to work on your own • Display skills – like to decorate. Ability to suggest merchandising ideas to owner and implement • Loves to find a bargain! We are a store filled with high quality bargains. • Does not mind processing shipments, pricing merchandise and setting up displays. • Working evenings and weekends are a must. • Ability to be on your feet throughout the day (on the sales floor). • Ability to lift up to a 40 pound box • Unload boxes from truck as required  

BENEFITS:  THIS IS AN HOURLY POSITION - PAY WILL RANGE FROM $10.50 - $13.00 PR HOUR PLUS BONUS. Paid vacation, employee discount
