The set Includes one bar table and two bar chairs! *What is the hardware made of?-All of our hardware is made of 9-layer galvanized steel, which makes it rust-resistant for many years. *Weight vs. other woods (ex. cedar is very light-FSC Maidenii is a very strong and dense wood. It is approximately 3 times as dense as teak. I attached a strength comparison sheet between our Maidenii wood and teak wood, done by Wood Workers Source. As you will see, Maidenii is actually stronger than Teak. This is one reason why it is used for marine docking. Not only is this wood very dense/heavy (you will see once you receive the samples), but the high oil content within this wood makes it very sustainable to the roughest of climates. *Weathering *The weathering process is pretty much the same as teak. Over time, the wood will patina to a silver gray. If you want to maintain the original color, you may do so with light sanding or application of teak or linseed oil annually. As I mentioned above, there is a very high oil content, so there is no worry of molding or corroding, which is sometimes seen in lesser quality woods suck as cedar, low-end eucalyptuses like acacia, etc. *Assembly- Several of the items you selected are already assembled, and some require some assembly. The items that do require assembly are pretty simple, and the instructions are very clear. All tools and hardware needed for assembly are included. * *Care and upkeep *As I mentioned in the weathering section, light sanding or application of teak/linseed oil annually is all that is needed. However some customers like the silver gray patina that develops over time, so they leave the furniture be. freight costs will vary based on location.
